On 20th November members of the Bendigo chapter of Victoria Welsh Choir, plus some members from Melbourne, took part with other choirs in Sing for Joy, Bendigo’s biennial choral festival fundraiser, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bendigo. All proceeds went to
“Impressed a packed house” On Sunday 6th November Victoria Welsh Choir did something we have never done before, and would not have been able to do until recently – perform in two places simultaneously (and, for good measure, 150km apart).
Meanwhile, on the same day, Sunday 6th November, the rest of the choir led the singing at the RSL State Branch Remembrance Day Service at Springvale War Cemetery. One chorister was told that the choir stole the show!
