“Nothing but praise from everybody who was there”

Our first country concert for 2011 was on Sunday 6th March, in Yea, where we previously appeared in 2001 and 2003. We presented a modified version of our “From Wales with Love” concert from St David’s Day, featuring Victoria Welsh Choir Scholar Melinda Ash. Other soloists were Bob Ash (no relation), Stephen Lynn, Roger Bartlett, Ambrose Morgan, Drew Hopkins, Ed Hughes, Geoff Serpell and the “Bendigo Balladeers” (Rob Hopman, Ken Simpson and Wayne Blandford).

Afterwards our client wrote:

“There was nothing but praise from everybody who was there.  You were all very well disciplined, and the singing and acoustics were superb.  That last number, the unaccompanied prayer (Sunset Poem), was a real tear jerker.  Thanks again, and we look forward to having you again one day.”
