“Great mix” “nothing needs improvement” “brought me to tears”

On 5th June Vic Welsh returned to Sandringham after an interval of 15 years.  Highlights included our première performance of the Beach Boys’ 1963 hit In My Room, with a solo by second tenor Stephen Lynn, and the return to our active repertoire of Seventy Six Trombones from The Music Man – at what seemed like twice the former tempo!  The audience joined us in singing the last chorus of Cwm Rhondda, “Songs of praises …” so enthusiastically that we sang it four times, equalling our record!
